The future is looking very good for Kwamz, as he embraces the urban music scene. His latest single offering is a great collaboration with Krept and Konan “NIGHT TO REMEMBER” The video was released on You Tube on 18th August and has over 18,000 views.
Kwamz just finished a 13 date UK & Ireland tour which stated in July, Liverpool 4th then continued to 13th Glasgow, 18th Newport, 20th Nottingham, 26th Leeds, Aug 2nd Newcastle, 7th Dublin, 8th Derry, 9th Belfast, 10th Manchester, 11th Birmingham, 16th at the EDEN project, Cornwall with the Peace Mix (www.peacemix.co.uk).
Kwamz closed the PeaceMix Finale for Tinchy Strider (a good supporter of Kwamz) at the Roundhouse in Camden to over 2.000 people on the 28th August.
Kwamz has built a very loyal fan base over the last year including 13,300 followers on Twitter, with up to 8,000 facebook likes and over 1,700 You Tube and Instagram subscribers, and just under 400,000 plays on his own YouTube channel alone.
#KwamzWatchMeOUTNOW officially trended worldwide in the TOP 3 on Twitter the day of its youtube release in April 2012.The video has now hit TV, and is currently on high rotation on AKA TV.
Kwamz started his musical journey in earnest just over one year ago when he was discovered by music business impresario Robert Stephenson of Blastbeat International. Shortly thereafter his first video & track “Drifting Away” was play listed on Channel AKA. In June 2011 he went top ten in the AKA urban charts. This video now boasts over 135,000 plays on YouTube. In November 2011 Kwamz released a debut EP via Believe Digital that sold very well.
Kwamz is now recognised as a rising star in the urban music scene and is being publically complimented and followed by a long list of stars on twitter like Ndubz and Tinchy Stryder, who have taken time to tweet about him and sponsor Kwamz with Merchandise etc.
Kwamz is working with some top UK and International songwriters and producers and will be delivering some big tracks and warm up videos and mixtapes leading up to his first physical release in Feb 2013.
Kwamz has a very loyal and dedicated fan base, with street teams set up by fans in many cities that assist with promoting his work and drive.
