Kofi Mole is renowned Ghanian hip-hop and afrobeat artist. He has been quite active, earning and sustaining the spotlight in the Ghanian Music Industry. Since the entry into the music scene, he has received several music awards. He is currently a member of the NGA records Label.
His Real name is Edward Kofi Agyemang Amoah, he was born in Kumasi in Ghana on the 16th of April, in 1996. He is a rapper, singer and songwriter.
Although we have no details about his primary education, he did his high school education at the Armed Forces Senior High Technical School. He also went on to the University of Ghana to study Psychology, but along the line decided, he could no longer push away the urge to being his music career.
According to the artist, this was his best decision, but the move also brought some fallouts with his father. His father had already from the onset told him that he was not in support of the movement. He dropped out of college when he was in his Level 300 at the Unversity of Ghana.
Kofi Mole’s love for music began as a kid. At the time, he was so into his church, playing drums and performing there. However, before long, his incredible skills for the drum came to the knowledge of a lot of people in the church.
But it did not stop them from appointing someone else for the business because the other was a son of a deacon. Because of this acute rejection at such a young age, he felt unappreciated and decided to stop going to church. He professionally moved into the music scene in 2011. But he was able to release his first song in 2016.
He has performed at countless events including the Ground Up Party at Kumasi, Tidal Wave and a host of other activities. According to him, his music style is influenced by the likes of Nas.
In 2018, he was featured in the hit single “Mensah” which was released by 2018 BET Awards nominee, Kwesi Arthur. This fantastic hit track was the first of many to herald Kofi Mole’s entrance to the spotlights. In 2018, he as also featured in Sarkodie’s Billb Ba.
