Rufftown Records’ newest signee, Fantana is a Ghanaian who was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States of America.
Born Francine Nyanko Koffi, Fantana hails from one of the Nzema towns in the Western Region of Ghana.
The 22-year-old upcoming music had her education in the US. According to reports, she studied Business and Fashion in college and own currently own a boutique.
She had always wanted to be a musician and one day contacted her label mate Wendy Shay who connected her to Rufftown label boss Bullet.
On the 24th of June, she released her first single “So What”, which was produced by Mog Beatz. The music video for the song was directed by Yaw Skyface.
Fantana’s name has already been tainted by her past records. It was recently revealed that she has a criminal record as she was once arrested in the United States for theft.
The budding singer however in her defence stated that she was not only celebrity to have a criminal records, citing American musicians like Jay Z and Cardi B as examples.
